Three Blues for Cello and Trumpet

Apparently, there aren't many pieces for trumpet and cello, so this one gets played a lot. While this is good news for me, it's a shame there aren't more works for this pairing--cello and trumpet are a great combination. The three movments each evoke a diffeent spirit of the blues: the first movement is very "late night, foggy city street, film noir+-sounding stuff, the second movement is an uptempo 12-bar blues-inspiried movement, and the third movement has a melancholy, resigned character (and an actual tune).
